About the Project: The Grong Grong culvert upgrade was delivered for Narrandera Shire Council and provides a safer and more flood-resilient crossing over the local waterway. The project involved the demolition of the existing structure, followed by the construction of a new reinforced culvert and associated roadworks. Our team installed robust abutments, headwalls and protective spillways to ensure the crossing could withstand high water flows, while the road approaching was upgraded to improve durability and driver safety. These works enhance reliable access for the community, improve flood management and ensure the crossing remains safe and functional during adverse weather conditions.
